Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care
- Handle food preparation and food handling duties in accordance with food safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and basic retail math to ensure correct change and sales recording
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and dining spaces
- Follow food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Support team members in delivering quick service during busy periods while maintaining a positive attitude
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or café environments, including barista or coffee experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining independence when needed
- Previous experience in serving or retail environments is advantageous but not required
