Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items with precision and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all food preparation and service areas in compliance with food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations.
- Assist with food handling, portioning, and plating to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
- Support food safety management by following proper hygiene practices, storing ingredients correctly, and handling food safely at all times.
- Providing friendly in-person customer service.
- Restock supplies regularly, including utensils, condiments, and breakfast items, ensuring everything is ready for service.
Requirements
- Strong skills in food preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Manual handling skills for weight handling in the workplace, including lifting trays or boxes of supplies.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with wine knowledge is a plus for pairing suggestions or beverage service.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor in in-person interactions.
- Culinary or catering experience is advantageous but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential.
