We are seeking a full-time Housekeeping / Laundry Aide to join our team at Menorah Life. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents. Your contributions will directly enhance the quality of life for seniors in our care.
Schedule
A combination of 7-3:30pm or 2:30-11pm and every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, and buffing as required.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing housekeeping duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping or laundry roles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards residents and staff.
- Willingness to comply with health and safety regulations.
