Server Assistant – Denny's

About the Position
Denny's in Branson is looking for dependable, energetic, and hardworking Server Assistants to join our team. This position supports both the front and back of the house by assisting servers, maintaining a clean dining room, and helping in the dish area when needed. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and being part of a team, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Clean, sanitize, and reset tables quickly and efficiently.
- Keep the dining room, lobby, and server stations clean and fully stocked.
- Maintain cleanliness of guest areas, including restrooms when assigned.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment following company sanitation standards.
- Operate the commercial dishwasher safely and efficiently.
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and stocked with cleaning supplies.
- Properly sort, scrape, rinse, and store clean dishes and kitchen equipment.
- Remove trash and assist with keeping the kitchen clean and organized.
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support restaurant operations.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Willing to work in both the dining room and dishwashing areas.
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not required—we will train the right candidate.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
