Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of laboratory techniques including sterile compounding and research.
- Conduct routine quality control checks and ensure adherence to laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment to guarantee precise results.
- Collect, analyze, and document data accurately using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Follow strict safety protocols related to chemical handling, sterile techniques, and laboratory safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
- Support research & development initiatives by assisting with experimental setup, sample preparation, and data collection.
- Keep detailed records of all laboratory activities, experiments, and results in compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in an industrial or clinical laboratory environment with familiarity in laboratory research techniques and sterile compounding.
- Strong understanding of GLP, CGMP, FDA regulations, and laboratory compliance standards.
- Knowledge of microbiology, molecular biology techniques, histology, cell culture, and veterinary terminology is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using laboratory instruments, microscopes, pipettes, centrifuges, and other scientific equipment.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
- Experience with laboratory record keeping, data collection, and research documentation is essential.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Ability to follow detailed laboratory procedures while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
