Job Title: Epic HIM Analyst

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Epic HIM (Health Information Management) Analyst to support clinical documentation and health information workflows within a healthcare environment. This role focuses on the configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of Epic HIM modules, ensuring accurate chart completion, coding processes, deficiency tracking, and release of information (ROI) workflows.
- Configure, build, and maintain Epic HIM modules
- Support workflows related to chart completion, coding, deficiency tracking, and release of information
- Collaborate with HIM staff, coders, clinicians, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement system enhancements
- Ensure data integrity, documentation accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Perform system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Troubleshoot system issues and workflow inefficiencies
- Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and go-live support
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and workflows
- Provide ongoing support and training to end users
- Epic HIM Certification (required)
- 3+ years of experience supporting Epic HIM or health information management systems
- Strong understanding of HIM workflows, including coding, chart completion, and ROI processes
- Experience with system build, configuration, and testing
- Knowledge of healthcare documentation standards and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience working in hospital or large healthcare environments
- Familiarity with coding standards (ICD-10, CPT) and regulatory requirements
- Experience supporting Epic upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives
