Position Summary
Holiday Inn Express International Drive is seeking professional, dependable, and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team. The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and hotel areas are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to the highest brand standards. This position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests while contributing to overall guest satisfaction and hotel success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to Holiday Inn Express and IHG brand standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and guest amenities.
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms.
- Clean mirrors, windows, fixtures, furniture, and other room surfaces.
- Inspect rooms to ensure quality standards are met before guest occupancy.
- Replenish guest supplies, toiletries, coffee amenities, and linens.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and damaged items promptly.
- Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and supply areas in an organized manner.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests.
- Follow all hotel safety, security, and cleanliness procedures.
- Assist with deep-cleaning projects and special assignments as needed.
- Work efficiently to meet daily productivity and quality goals.
- Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
QualificationsRequired
- Previous housekeeping, hotel, cleaning, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and professional appearance.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules.
Preferred
- Prior hotel housekeeping experience.
- Knowledge of hotel cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift throughout an entire shift.
- Ability to push and pull housekeeping carts weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks while maintaining quality standards.
