American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist for a Level 1 trauma acute care facility requiring 2+ years of experience and RT(R)(MR) certification.
-
Work in the MRI department of an acute care Level 1 trauma facility
-
Cover outpatient, inpatient, and ED patient populations
-
Operate GE MRI scanners (1.5T 450W and 3T 750W)
-
MRI Tech assistant (RRA) support provided at a ratio of 1 per 8-hour shift
-
12-hour night shifts
-
1 weekend per month required
-
Possible holiday coverage
-
No call or standby requirements
-
Uses Epic EMR/PACS system
-
Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience

BLS (AHA) certification required
-
RT(R)(MR) certification required
-
License required if applicable
-
Knowledge of MRI safety guidelines and standard acquisition sequences

Must be able to start IVs
-
Experience operating GE MRI scanners preferred

Department-specific orientation of approximately 1 week, depending on familiarity with GE scanner type

Standard solid colored scrubs required; scrubs not provided

Tattoos must be covered

Local candidates accepted with a reduced local pay rate for those within 50 miles of the facility

Negative drug screen required per facility Drug-Free Campus policy
