Concorde Suites is looking for an experienced, dependable full-time Maintenance Technician
to join our team.
We are looking for an all-around maintenance professional who is comfortable working across
several trades and can troubleshoot issues, make repairs, and complete projects independently.
This is an excellent position for someone with broad experience in maintenance, construction,
remodeling, apartment maintenance, or hotel maintenance. Experience or a specialty in
plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, or another skilled trade is a major plus.
Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician will handle a wide variety of repairs and maintenance throughout
the property, including:
- Minor plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
- Basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting
- Drywall repair and finishing
- Interior painting and touch-ups
- Cabinet and carpentry repairs
- Door, lock, and hardware repairs
- Faucet, toilet, sink, and fixture repairs
- Appliance troubleshooting and minor repairs
- PTAC/air-conditioning troubleshooting and maintenance
- Caulking and bathroom repairs
- Minor flooring repairs
- Guest-room repairs and room turns
- Preventive maintenance
- General property repairs
- Identifying problems before they become larger or more expensive repairs
- Coordinating with management when a repair requires a licensed contractor or outside
specialist
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate:
- Has several years of hands-on maintenance, construction, remodeling, apartment, or hotel
maintenance experience
- Is knowledgeable in multiple trades
- Can diagnose a problem instead of simply replacing parts
- Can complete projects from start to finish
- Works efficiently and takes pride in doing the job correctly
- Can prioritize urgent repairs
- Keeps tools, materials, and work areas organized
- Communicates clearly with management
- Is dependable and consistently reports to work as scheduled
- Can work independently without constant supervision
- Understands when a repair is outside their expertise and requires a licensed professional
A strong background or specialty in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, construction,
or remodeling is highly desirable.
Schedule
Monday through Friday – Full Time
Occasional emergency or after-hours work may be available or required depending on property
needs.
Compensation
$25–$28 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
Candidates with exceptional multi-trade experience or specialized skills may be considered at a
higher rate.
Interview Process
Qualified applicants should be prepared to discuss their hands-on experience with plumbing,
electrical, drywall, painting, HVAC/PTAC systems, carpentry, appliances, and general building
repairs.
Applicants selected to move forward will complete a short maintenance knowledge
assessment as part of the interview process.
We are looking for someone who wants a stable, long-term position and can become the go-to
maintenance professional for the property.
