The Warehouse Worker receives, stores, and issues materials, supplies and equipment. Maintains warehouse supplies and materials
SPECEFIC JOB RESPONIBILITES
- Receives, stores and issues materials, supplies and equipment
- Sets priorities and dates for outgoing deliveries
- Checks incoming materials, equipment, and supplies for conformity to purchase orders and specifications
- Inspects orders for quantity, quality, damages and other discrepancies
- Reports shortages, damages, and other discrepancies as needed
- Packs and crates equipment and supplies for shipment to vendors of returns, over shipments, damaged shipments and goods to be repaired; completes and maintains memo file for shipping; notifies vendor of pickups for retuned items.
- Assists with the layout of the warehouse storeroom
- Prepares inventory control slips and posts control numbers to equipment
- Use manual material-handling tools (e.g., carts, dollies, pallet jacks) as trained
- Work cooperatively with material handlers and supervisors
- Follow directions and respond to changing priorities
- Communicate issues or delays promptly
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 0-2 years of experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment High School Diploma
- Requires limited job knowledge of systems and procedures. Follows basic work routines and standards
- Does not require advanced education and requires little to no prior experience
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
