The Wright School is looking for qualified candidates to fill the role of 1st/2nd Grade School Teacher. The Teacher will be responsible for responsible for:
- Planning, preparing and delivering lessons
- Creating an innovative learning environment
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development
- Identify and meet individual learners' needs
- Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction
- Promote appropriate behavior and respect for others
- Maintain open dialogue and positive with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and needs
The Wright School is a small private Christian school with a culture rich in education, family, and faith. We are dedicated to keeping class sizes small as to better reach and influence all students in our care. We are working toward creating partnerships in which the students work in the community and gain knowledge of the “real world” while strengthening their walk with Christ.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education
- 3+ years teaching experience
- Commitment to creating a productive educational experience
- Have experience teaching the subject areas of Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
