Duties
- Collect blood samples
- Prepare and label specimens accurately for laboratory testing, following strict aseptic techniques
- Assist patients with specimen collection, providing clear instructions and compassionate care across pediatrics, geriatrics, and general populations
- Maintain proper specimen handling, processing, and documentation in compliance with laboratory procedures
- Operate electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems for data entry, test ordering, and result documentation
- Monitor vital signs when necessary and observe patient reactions during procedures
- Follow all safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and infection control measures
- May also help in the office as a medical assistant
Requirements
- Proven experience in laboratory procedures at least 1 year
- Certification or training in phlebotomy
- Experience working in hospital or healthcare settings is highly desirable
- Ability to perform venipuncture efficiently while maintaining patient comfort and safety
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate data entry and record keeping
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and specimen handling standards for laboratory accuracy
- Russian and Ukrainian languages are required.
Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
