Rate: $13.00/HR or Experience maybe more
- Food Handlers required to start working.
- Must be ready to work when clocked in, nonslip shoes on, uniform on and hair covered as needed. NO CELL PHONES allowed unless authorized. A lead worker will be responsible for making sure this is followed.
- All food safety procedures are always followed, gloves, hand washing, hair nets as needed, sanitizing stations as we go, etc.
- Read and understand Paradise Key handbook.
- Read and understand measurements and directions.
- The Front of House Manager approves of smoke breaks as only 2 are allowed at one time and not during rush periods. (11-2; 6-8) Only 2 are allowed per shift.
- All breaks are approved by the manager or lead if the manager is not present.
- All recipes are followed and NOT changed or altered without GM or Owner approval.
- Will be required to rotate properly and put away truck orders. Also required to rotate products by the “use first dates”, break down and consolidate boxes.
- Everyone, including leads, are to take out trash after trucks or as needed before end of the shift.
- Will be required to work as a team to finish lists that need to be completed daily.
- Will be required to chop and cut vegetables and proteins for menu items.
- Will be required to wash pots and pans, other dishes as needed.
- Will be required to help with deep cleaning and organization, especially during slow season.
- Will be required to help with orders and other items when needed. (Not my job is something GM and owners don't want to hear).
- Everyone signs and expectation document for BOH in kitchen.
There is a 90 day probationary period to which we see if it is a good fit for employment.
