American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital position requiring at least 1 year of acute care experience and proficiency with Epic EMR.

Inpatient acute care hospital setting with physical therapy and inpatient rehab responsibilities
-
Both part-time and full-time schedules are available
-
Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
-
Weekend rotation approximately every 6–7 weeks; a day off is provided the week before and after each weekend worked

Holidays are rotated, with approximately one holiday worked per year

Epic EMR is used and experience is required

Local candidates are accepted provided they reside beyond a 70-mile radius of the facility

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care physical therapy experience required

Comfort with both acute care and inpatient rehab evaluation required

Current BLS certification required

Valid state PT license required if applicable (pending licensure may be considered)

Epic EMR experience required

2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Must be clean-shaven at the time of mask fit testing — facial hair that prevents a proper mask seal is not permitted, with no exceptions

Inpatient rehabilitation hospital experience is preferred but not required

Attire: Caribbean blue scrubs or khakis with a lab coat

Respiratory protection uses standard fit-tested masks; CAPRs and PAPRs are not available or permitted for use by travelers at this facility
