Aura Electric & Lighting Supply is looking for an experienced Inside Sales & Counter Operations Manager to join our team at our Howell, NJ location.
Aura has been serving electrical contractors for more than 40 years. We’ve continued to grow while staying focused on what matters — strong relationships, good service, knowledgeable people, and getting our customers what they need. With locations in New Jersey and New York, we are growing and looking for the right people to grow with us.
This is a key position for someone who knows the electrical supply business, understands the products, knows how to work with contractors, and can help lead a busy inside sales and counter operation.
We are looking for someone experienced, dependable, organized, and confident dealing with customers. The right person should be able to take ownership, work well with the team, and keep things moving.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and support day-to-day inside and counter sales
- Work directly with electrical contractors and customers
- Handle phone, email, and walk-in orders
- Quote and sell electrical material
- Help customers identify the right products and solutions
- Follow up on quotes, orders, and customer needs
- Work closely with purchasing, warehouse, outside sales, and management
- Help keep the inside sales and counter operation organized and running smoothly
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Help lead the team and set the standard for customer service
What We’re Looking For
- Strong electrical supply industry experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical products and materials
- Inside sales and/or electrical counter sales experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Able to work quickly and accurately in a busy environment
- Organized and able to handle multiple things at once
- Strong team player
- Dependable and willing to take ownership
- Management or leadership experience is a strong plus

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
