Production Assistant — Jack's Crackers
Keene, NH
We're a small, handcrafted cracker business based in Keene, and we're looking for a Production Assistant/Co-conspirator to help out in the kitchen on bake nights — with room to grow into other parts of the business over time.
Schedule
● Evenings, 7:30 PM – 11:30 PM
● 10–12 hours/week (roughly 10)
● Minimum two nights: Monday and Thursday
● Occasional additional Tuesday or Wednesday night, depending on the schedule for the week.
Pay
● $12–$15/hour, depending on experience
What you'll do
● Assist with hands-on cracker production during bake nights. This includes working with and handling lots of dough (the bakery kind), assisting with setup and teardown and dishwashing along with other tasks as needed.
● Learn our process on the job — no experience required but helpful, full training provided on site
● Help with other production and fulfillment tasks as you settle in
Requirements
● Able to lift up to 50 lbs
● Reliable evening availability on the scheduled nights
● Food handler certification required eventually — we'll cover the cost of the online certification to get you started, no cert needed on day one
● Own transportation preferred, but open to discussing depending on the situation
Age
Must be at least 16. Applicants who are 16 or 17 are welcome — New Hampshire requires a signed parental/guardian authorization on file for minors this age, which we'll handle as part of onboarding. (NH prohibits anyone under 16 from working past 9 PM, so 16+ is the floor for this shift.)
