Liberty Day School is seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire our young learners in a nurturing classroom environment. You will create and lead age-appropriate lesson plans that build early reading skills, social development, and core learning fundamentals. <Responsibilities>
- Develop and execute comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social interaction among preschool-aged children.
- Implement effective behavior management strategies to support positive behavior and emotional regulation.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and standardized testing results while ensuring compliance with licensing regulations.
- Supervise classroom staff and volunteers, providing guidance on classroom management, lesson planning, and best practices in childcare.
<Qualifications>
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom management and lesson planning expertise.
- Prior experience in classroom settings or daycare centers is preferred; Montessori certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, staff, and community partners.
- Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, safety protocols, and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
