Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards and health regulations
- Develop new beverage recipes and craft innovative drinks to keep our menu fresh and exciting
- Handle cash register operations, process payments, and give correct change using retail math skills
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours or special events like banquets and catering functions
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate stock shortages promptly
- Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or food service within the hospitality industry; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer, and beverage recipe development
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours without compromising quality
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food safety procedures
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of food handling standards, food safety regulations, and responsible alcohol service practices
