Job Overview
A state of the art, full-service steel construction company proudly serving the greater Northeast corridor is looking to add a Project Manager to their growing team of professionals just north of Boston, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate(s) will be an independently driven self-starter who will demonstrate professional maturity, a high level of integrity and ethical behavior, as well as strong team-working skills. Detail oriented is a must along with good communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Implement and monitor construction budgets
- Coordinate schedules for material, equipment delivery and installation
- Communicate and coordinate detailers, joist & deck suppliers and erectors
- Review and submit shop drawings and submittals
- Must be able to manage the client’s needs and expectations
- Will visit job sites and attend meetings on-site
- Will correspond with general contractors, architects, engineers and owners
- Negotiate revisions and changes to the original scope of work
Minimum Experience Required:
- Three to five years of project management experience in steel construction
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management and Engineering is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA Regulations
- Ability to read and interpret steel & architectural drawings
- Ability to manage multiple projects in various phases

Experience:
- interpreting steel & architectural drawings: 3 years (Required)
- structural steel/Iron fabrication installation: 3 years (Required)
