We are looking for an Automotive Parts & Fitment Specialist who understands vehicles at a mechanical level and can confidently research, source, and manage parts throughout the restoration process. Authorization to work in the United States. Ability to type 25+ words per minute. Proficiency with common office software (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook). Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software platforms. Strong computer proficiency, including the ability to navigate multiple web-based tools, perform accurate data entry, and quickly learn new systems.
Strong automotive knowledge (mechanic or restoration experience preferred) Ability to identify parts and understand fitment across different makes, models, and years Experience sourcing automotive parts (online vendors) Comfortable using computers for research, ordering, and tracking Organized and able to manage multiple requests at once Strong communication skills with both technicians and office staff
Review daily parts requests submitted by restoration technicians Research and identify correct parts based on vehicle specs, compatibility, and fitment Locate reliable vendors and suppliers for required components Create and manage purchase requisitions for the parts department Verify part accuracy before ordering to minimize delays and returns Receive incoming parts, inspect for accuracy and condition, and check into inventory Distribute parts to technicians and track usage per project Communicate with technicians to clarify needs and resolve fitment questions Maintain organized records of orders, vendors, and parts history
High School Diploma
Mechanic Experience or strong automotive knowledge required. 1–3 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or similar computer-based roles. Experience with CRM systems, spreadsheets, or internal data platforms.
