Position Overview
Stability Staffing & Consulting (SSC) is seeking reliable and professional Door Monitors to support a
temporary event at the Henry B. González Convention Center. Door Monitors will help maintain a safe,
organized, and welcoming environment by monitoring designated entrances and assisting guests throughout the
event.
Candidates must be available to work long 10–12-hour shifts and be comfortable standing for extended
periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Check guest or employee identification, badges, and event tickets.
- Monitor designated entrances and exits.
- Operate security doors, metal detectors, or visitor management systems as assigned.
- Greeting guests and provide general directions and assistance.
- Monitor entry points for safety hazards or unauthorized individuals.
- Maintain awareness of activity in assigned areas.
- Report security concerns, incidents, or unauthorized access to event management.
- Follow all event safety, security, and client procedures.
- Always maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.
