Duties
- Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management
- Manage inventory control, purchasing, merchandising, and stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities
- Recruit, interview, and train new employees; conduct employee orientation and ongoing development programs
- Implement effective marketing strategies to attract customers and increase store visibility
- Monitor retail math metrics such as sales performance, pricing strategies, and budgeting to ensure profitability
- Supervise staff scheduling, shift management, and payroll processing to optimize operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail sales or jewelry store environments with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, and communication to foster positive relationships with clients and staff
- Demonstrated ability in employee recruiting, interviewing, training & development, and team supervision
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively
- Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, bookkeeping, cash handling, and retail math principles
- Experience in retail industry sales team management including merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory control
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
