Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist I to join our warehouse team in Franklin, MA. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering $21 per hour for a motivated candidate with warehouse, shipping, picking, or inventory experience.
The Warehouse Specialist I will support daily warehouse operations including work order picking, kitting, shipping, inventory control, material movement, and general warehouse organization. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Key Responsibilities

Pick, kit, and stage materials based on work orders and production needs

Use RF scanners, barcodes, and inventory systems to locate and verify materials
*
Prepare, pack, and process outgoing shipments according to customer and company standards
*
Verify order accuracy and ensure products are properly packed for safe delivery
*
Assist with shipping methods including parcel, LTL, and FTL shipments
*
Perform inventory transactions in warehouse or ERP systems
*
Conduct cycle counts and help maintain accurate stock levels
*
Report inventory discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials
*
Return unused materials to inventory and maintain organized storage areas
*
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or reach trucks as needed
*
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
*
Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment
*
Support other warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, and picking as business needs require
Qualifications
*
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
*
Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, shipping, picking, inventory, or material handling experience preferred
*
Experience using RF scanners, inventory systems, ERP, or WMS software is a plus
*
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
*
Basic computer skills
*
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
Good verbal and written communication skills
*
Forklift, pallet jack, or reach truck experience is a plus
*
Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Work Environment
This position is performed in a standard warehouse/manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable working around warehouse equipment and following all required safety procedures. Safety gear such as safety boots, eye protection, and hearing protection may be required.
