We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Long Haul Class A Driver to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on long-distance routes, including OTR driving routes, with a focus on delivering freight promptly and securely.
- Navigate using GPS systems and route planning tools to optimize delivery schedules and ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure safety standards are met, including checking for proper load securement and trailer condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any issues encountered during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, particularly in long-haul or over-the-road routes.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT requirements.
- Experience operating walking floor, belt trailer & hoppers.
- Proficiency in GPS navigation systems and route planning software for efficient deliveries.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service excellence.
Pay: $61,655.65 - $74,251.97 per year
