Cooper’s Catering is seeking a PER Diem Bartender.
We are looking for someone to fit our team, we are expanding and growing and we need some experienced bartenders to grow with us. The position is for experienced Per Diem catering servers and bartenders. This is an on-call, seasonal position, for most of the year. The bartender will serve beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, and oversee bar operations. Duties include stocking and setting up the bar for service; performing cashier duties, serving drinks and food; interacting with customers; determining when customers should stop being served; and adhering to State regulations and Cooper’s catering policy regarding liquor consumption.

We are known for our impeccable service and exceptional attention to detail. Most of our events are in private homes along with corporate events and function halls and public rented spaces.
Aside from the usual Serving and Bartending responsibilities other responsibilities would include:
Showing to work on time
Lifting up to 40 pounds
Friendly, respectful, helpful personality
Being able to work as a TEAM, is very important
Loading and Unloading vehicles
Set up as needed, tables, chairs, linens, kitchen, buffet…
Packing up and breaking down at the end of the night
Unloading and putting away all kitchen, and service pieces at the end of the night in the Kitchen
Required Skills
Must have good basic knowledge and skills related to the bar set up and service, neat appearance, good customer service skills, and ability to deal effectively with intoxicated individuals.
Required Experience
High school education or equivalent required.
A minimum of one year of relevant bartending experience is desired.
