Welder (GMAW)
Pay: $17 – $28/hour (based on experience)
Full Benefits Package after 60 days
Friday – Sunday Weekend shift 5:00AM – 5:30PM (Work 36 paid for 40)
Summary
To join materials together utilizing the proper welding technique to satisfy customer requirements.
The essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

Read blueprints to determine correct process for welding product.

Determine appropriate welding equipment and welding sequence.

Weld components together to satisfy Customer Specifications.

Validate weld integrity with non-destructive test.

Report in ERP system accurate quantities completed.

Measure final product to Customer blueprint

Maintain clean and organized work area.

Perform Daily/Weekly Preventative maintenance as assigned
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education and/or Experience
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

3 to 5 years welding experience or 4 years from accredited welding institution.

Blueprint reading.

Weld symbols knowledge.
Preferred:
-
Metal fabrication experience.

A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution.
Language Skills
Ability to read/write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, product and component specifications, data sheets and procedure manuals.
Physical Demands
Lift up to 50lbs
