Fiber Technician – $23/Hour + Paid Training

Position Details
- Service Area: Dayton, OH 45401 and nearby communities
- Training Location: Clayton, Ohio 45315 (Hotel accommodations if distance qualified)
- Training Start Date: August 3rd
- Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour during training and after training
Key Responsibilities
- Install, connect, and maintain fiber-optic cabling in residential and outdoor settings.
- Ensure all fiber installations meet company standards and safety requirements.
- Perform testing and diagnostics to verify proper network performance.
- Identify and resolve connectivity and signal issues as needed.
- Accurately document completed installations, repairs, and service activities.
- Deliver professional customer support during service appointments.
- Work closely with team members to complete projects safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company procedures, policies, and safety protocols.
Training Program
- Participate in instructor-led training covering fiber-optic technology, equipment usage, and workplace safety.
- Gain hands-on field experience alongside experienced Fiber Technicians.
- Successful trainees will have the opportunity to move into a full-time Fiber Technician position serving customers throughout the Dayton area.

Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 60–80 pounds on a regular basis.
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders up to 36 feet.
- Willingness to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record review.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior fiber-optic experience is a plus but not necessary.
