Special Education Teacher (SET) – K-8 | Full-Time | 2026-2027 School Year
Schoolforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (SET) for a full-time opportunity supporting students in a public school setting during the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with a supportive educational team.
Position Details
- Position: Special Education Teacher (SET)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Hours: 7:25 AM - 3:45 PM
- School Year: August 2026 - May 2027
- Student Population: Kindergarten through 8th Grade
- Primary Caseloads: Likely 2nd-3rd Grade and/or 4th-5th Grade
- Setting: Mild to Moderate Special Education
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities.
- Deliver services through a combination of small-group instruction and classroom push-in support.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
Qualifications
- Valid Special Education Teaching License/Certification (required)
- Experience working with elementary or middle school students preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
