Duties
- Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, including staffing, customer service, food quality, and safety standards
- Oversee food preparation, kitchen management, and food handling to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety protocols
- Supervise staff training, development, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled team
- Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining optimal stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Handle cash management, POS transactions, and daily financial reconciliation with accuracy
- Implement and monitor food safety programs and hygiene standards to uphold the highest quality assurance
- Drive sales growth through effective shift management, customer engagement, and marketing initiatives
- Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for cost control and revenue enhancement
- Coordinate catering events, banquet services, or special promotions to expand the restaurant’s offerings
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest feedback promptly and professionally
Skills
- Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards
- Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
- Strong background in quick service & fast food restaurant operations as well as fine dining environments
- Proven ability in inventory control, food management, and food safety compliance
- Demonstrated leadership in supervising teams within hospitality or restaurant settings
- Skilled in staff training, interviewing potential team members, and managing hospitality teams effectively
- Expertise in managing budgets, conducting profit & loss analysis, and implementing cost-saving strategies
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences
- Knowledge of kitchen management practices including food production, catering, bar operations, and culinary techniques
- Experience with managing hospitality teams across various roles such as assistant manager or shift supervisor
- Strong organizational skills for shift management, food handling procedures, and ensuring operational flow
- Ability to lead by example while fostering a positive work environment focused on teamwork and excellence
