Hybrid; Position is required to be in the office in Columbus, Ohio at least 3 days per week.
Role Description:
- Analyze, determine, and document functional requirements related to the accessibility of websites and related solutions.
- Define and align business requirements and technical requirements for accessibility.
- Conduct impact analyses of business requirement son customer-facing applications and websites.
- Gather and interpret user requirements and legal accessibility requirements into design specifications.
- Participate in or lead design of customer-facing websites and applications.
- Review website code and make edits to ensure accessibility.
- Lead testing for websites and customer-facing solutions to ensure accessibility.
- Communicate accurate and useful status updates.
- Follow quality standards.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills; both written and spoken
- Act as the functional expert on accessibility for websites and applications within the Department of Neighborhoods. Provide expertise in the business processes supported by web hosting platforms and related applications.
- Provide expertise for defining functional architecture of websites and customer-facing applications.
- Plan and develop user interface strategy, in alignment with accessibility requirements.
- Identify and track issues, risks and action items affecting own work and work of team.
- Determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timely manner.
