Job Overview:
Food processing workers are responsible for working in the food production and packaging lines. Loading ingredients into industrial kitchen equipment and continuously monitoring the machinery to ensure product quality standards are met.
Duties:

Qualifications:
- Exellent attendance
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Skills:
Maintain a clean and sterile environment for food preparation, processing, storage and packaging
Record production and test data for batches of food and share information with team members
Set up, operate, and clean manual and electric professional food preparation and processing equipment.
Safety:
Food Processing Workers must use appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and protective outer clothing. Workers are responsible for complying with safety protocols on equipment operated throughout production. Security and sanitation of the manufacturing plant are also a concern for food processing workers. If incidents compromise safety or security, the worker must report them to the appropriate personnel.
Quality:
Food Processing Workers are responsible for meeting quality assurance standards set by relevant industry programs, such as SQF and FDA. They must also ensure that all product specifications and manufacturing procedures are followed. Workers must proactively communicate with the necessary personnel if product defects are discovered.
