Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance and Repair
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain cranes and lifting equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Perform preventive maintenance including lubrication, fluid changes, inspections, and replacement of wear components.
Remove, disassemble, rebuild, and reinstall crane components including hoists, booms, hydraulic cylinders, pumps, gearboxes, and braking systems.
Diagnose and repair electronic control systems including LMI systems, CANBUS communication
Equipment Operation and Field Service
Operate cranes as needed to diagnose equipment issues and verify repairs.
Travel to job sites to perform field service, maintenance, and emergency repairs.
Types of Equipment Serviced
Mobile cranes, Rough terrain cranes, All-terrain cranes, Truck-mounted cranes, Telescopic boom cranes, Tower cranes, Overhead and bridge cranes, Gantry cranes, Jib cranes, Loader cranes and articulating cranes
Education and Certifications
Technical training in heavy equipment repair, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred.
Crane operator certification or ability to obtain certification.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Additional certifications in electrical diagnostics, hydraulics, or crane inspection are a plus.
