About Us:
We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Retail Associate / Cashier to join our irrigation and landscape supply store. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, stays organized in a fast-paced setting, and can handle transactions accurately while providing a positive customer experience.
You’ll be one of the first points of contact for customers, helping with purchases, answering questions, and keeping the front-end running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and assist with questions or product needs
- Handle register transactions including cash, card, returns, and exchanges
- Process phone orders and enter sales accurately
- Stay up to date on current products, promotions, and pricing
- Keep the checkout and front counter area clean and organized
- Work with team members to maintain efficient store operations
- Respond to customer concerns in a professional and helpful manner
- Support training of new team members when needed
Requirements
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
- Comfortable handling cash and using a POS system
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Interest in landscaping, plants, or irrigation products is a plus
- Detail-oriented with accuracy in transactions
- Ability to handle a high-volume environment with a positive attitude
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
