This is a part time position of up to 30 hours per week.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Facilities Associate is responsible for maintaining all GraceWorks physical properties including buildings and equipment utilized for operations of the ministry. This involves organizing and coordinating repairs and upgrade projects to be completed either personally, through volunteers, or by paid partner service companies. The Facilities Associate position also assists in the management of warehouse storage spaces for food supplies, in-kind donations, and Manger inventory.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Maintain warehouse, assisting with storage of food/retail/Manger items.
Maintain and operate equipment in the warehouse, such as lift trucks or pallet jacks, power tools, etc.
Oversee repairs to the facility as needed and occasional repair of slightly damaged furniture to be sold.
Participate in campus safety initiatives and lead in maintaining OSHA workplace standards.
Confirm all safety procedures and equipment are being followed and maintained.
Coordinate communications with cleaning service for compliance, supplies, and special cleaning requests.
Work with service contractors to facilitate maintenance, upkeep, and repair of GraceWorks properties.
Interact in a professional and pleasant manner with all donors, customers, and volunteers.
Manage the upkeep, maintenance, and repair of all GraceWorks equipment.
Drive GraceWorks vehicles as necessary to help with pickups and drop-offs.
Be able to tell the GraceWorks story to anyone who asks.
Able to react to change proactively and handle all other duties/essential tasks as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Regular supervision of volunteer groups working on facilities projects.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED required; Valid Driver’s License Required
