Axelrod & Associates, P.A. is seeking a Criminal Defense Paralegal to join its growing practice.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in the Horry County criminal court system. We are looking specifically for experience with General Sessions. You will be assisting a team of attorneys and working other support staff on criminal defense cases at all court levels in several counties across the State of South Carolina.
Candidate will be expected to work together in a team environment as well as work independently to complete tasks. Organization and attention to detail is required. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about criminal defense law and who will treat our clients with respect, empathy, and approach each case without judgment.
Strong computer skills are required and experience with Microsoft applications is preferred. Knowledge of case management software is not required and training will be provided.
