Helicopter Fight Services (HeliNY) is the premier Tour & Charter company offering NYC Helicopter Tours for over 30 years. We are looking for a positive, full-time customer service-oriented person to join our team at the Downtown Manhattan Heliport in NYC.
Responsibilities:
- Escort passengers safely and efficiently between the terminal and aircraft.
- Physically & visually ensure that all passengers are properly secured with seat belts and that headsets are on accordingly. Assist pilots by providing visual communication signals to ensure safe takeoffs.
- Maintain constant situational awareness around moving aircraft and equipment.
- Deliver clear, professional verbal instructions and assistance to passengers.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Ability to remain alert, safety-conscious, and attentive at all times.
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Comfortable working in a high-noise environment around jet engines and machinery.
- Aviation experience is a plus but not required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and participate in ongoing drug & alcohol screening programs.
- Excellent Communication Skills Required - must be able to effectively communicate information and instructions verbally and in a professional manner with the passengers.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift in person, must be available to work Saturday's
- Time/Half for major Holidays
