Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI models utilizing frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other machine learning tools to address real-world challenges.
- Implement natural language processing (NLP) techniques for language understanding, chatbots, and text analysis applications.
- Conduct statistical modeling and analysis to support research initiatives and improve predictive accuracy.
- Manage large-scale data pipelines using ETL processes with tools like Talend, Hadoop, Spark, and Bash scripting for efficient data ingestion and transformation.
- Optimize AI models for scalability and performance on cloud platforms such as AWS Machine Learning services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems using Java, Python, R, SQL databases, and Spark implementation.
- Evaluate model performance through rigorous testing and validation procedures; refine models based on statistical analysis for research purposes.
- Lead efforts in model training, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement to ensure robust AI/ML-based analysis.
- Explore emerging AI trends including Generative AI and Quantum engineering to enhance innovation initiatives.
- Develop comprehensive documentation of algorithms, data schemas, and system architecture for transparency and reproducibility.
Experience
- Proven experience in developing machine learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow or similar tools in a cloud environment such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Strong background in statistical analysis for research with proficiency in R or SAS for data interpretation.
- Hands-on expertise in big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark (including Spark implementation), and data mining techniques.
- Familiarity with database design principles for SQL databases; experience with SQL query optimization is a plus.
- Practical knowledge of natural language processing (NLP), generative AI models, and AI implementation strategies across various applications.
- Experience working with machine learning cloud services for model training, evaluation, deployment, and scalability enhancement.
- Programming skills in Python, Java, C, VBA or Bash (Unix shell) to automate workflows and develop custom solutions.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Looker or similar platforms to communicate insights effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
