Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all cleaning tasks meet established quality standards.
- Support the training and mentoring of housekeeping staff in cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and safety regulations.
- Oversee cleaning schedules for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring timely completion.
- Conduct inspections to verify cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to health protocols across all areas.
- Manage custodial supplies inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and proper storage of cleaning materials.
- Enforce safety regulations related to industrial cleaning, chemical handling, and equipment use to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with management on team supervision, performance feedback, and operational improvements to enhance service delivery.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning services with a focus on custodial or janitorial work in hospitality or commercial settings.
- Strong supervisory skills with previous experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills for managerial interactions and customer service excellence.
- Ability to oversee cleaning & sanitation management programs effectively while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Leadership qualities with a focus on team supervision, motivation, and management best practices.
- Experience with laundry operations and hotel housekeeping procedures is highly desirable.
