Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Service
- Provide a friendly, welcoming, and engaging experience for all guests.
- Guide diners through the menu, including allergen awareness and dietary accommodations.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, wine, and beer.
- Host guests and manage reservations to ensure smooth seating and service flow.
Operations & Collaboration
- Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver seamless, efficient service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all guest-facing areas.
- Accurately process orders and handle transactions using the POS system.
Team & Culture
- Support a positive, collaborative, and respectful team environment.
- Learn and confidently share Caprae’s story, including our farm, dairy, and creamery.
- Represent Caprae’s values of hospitality, craftsmanship, and community.
Qualifications & Skills
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.
- Hospitality or food service experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn about our menu, products, and farm operations.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (per state law).
- Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain).
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $17 per hour, based on experience plus tips.
- Service Charge Model: A service charge is added to dinner purchases to support fair wages and benefits for the entire Caprae team—including culinary staff, dairy team members caring for our goats and land, and the creamery team crafting our award-winning cheeses.
