Smile First Dental is looking for a compassionate, energetic Pediatric Dentist to join our growing team in Durham, North Carolina.
We are a privately owned pediatric dental practice focused on providing high-quality, positive dental experiences for children and their families. Our practice continues to grow, and we are looking for a doctor who wants to become an important part of our team and grow with us long term.
About Our Practice
Smile First Dental is an established, busy pediatric practice with a strong patient base, experienced clinical and administrative teams, and a focus on continuing to expand the services we can provide to our patients.
Our practice offers:
- Comprehensive pediatric dentistry
- Preventive and restorative care
- Nitrous oxide and sedation dentistry
- In office general anesthesia/hospital-based dentistry
- Early/interceptive orthodontics
- Invisalign First / Phase I and appropriate Phase II treatment
- Airway-focused pediatric dentistry
- Palatal expansion
- Digital technology and modern clinical systems

Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Pediatric Dentist who is clinically confident, kind, team-oriented, and genuinely enjoys working with children and families.
Our ideal doctor:
- Has completed an accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency
- Is a board certified Pediatric Dentist
- Holds or is eligible for a North Carolina dental license
- Is comfortable providing comprehensive pediatric dental treatment
- Communicates well with both children and parents
- Values teamwork and a positive office culture
- Is dependable, professional, and open to feedback
- Is interested in continued learning and professional growth
- Is comfortable treating a wide variety of pediatric patients and treatment needs
- Has an interest in sedation, hospital dentistry
Experience is welcome, but we are also open to the right new graduate who is looking for a supportive practice where they can develop clinically and professionally.

Schedule
We are looking for someone wanting a part time position working 2 days a week.
Compensation
Competitive compensation based on experience, schedule, and employment structure. Additional details regarding compensation and benefits will be discussed during the interview process.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from an accredited residency program
- North Carolina dental license or eligibility for licensure
- Current BLS certification
