We are looking for contractual Mental Health Clinicians/Therapists to work predominantly with adolescents and children, and some adults in our Catonsville and Dundalk locations.
National Pike Health Center was founded in 2001 as a clinic dedicated to providing behavioral health counseling to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. Decades later, with 2+ locations, we are more committed than ever to providing these clients with quality, service, and a sense of community.
NPHC is a community-based Outpatient Mental Health Center with offices in Catonsville, Dundalk, and Westminster. We provide mental health therapy and a psychiatric rehabilitation program (PRP) for all ages and groups. A multidisciplinary team of outstanding mental health therapists, psychiatrists, rehabilitation coordinators, and administrative staff joins us on this mission. From inception to through treatment, there is an ongoing planning and review of each case until the client is discharged. Our preventative and therapeutic outpatient mental health services provide treatment and psychiatric rehabilitation based on continually monitored and individualized treatment and/or rehabilitation goals.
Description of Role:
The National Pike Health Center Mental Health Therapists/Clinicians utilize their skills to provide therapy services within the school setting and communities. The services offered, along with time and location, are based on the individual needs of each client and family. Clinicians are given the opportunities to be flexible and creative to meet the clinical needs of their caseloads. Clinicians provide individual, family, and group therapy. Clinicians are expected to meet billing targets to ensure reimbursement for services.

Therapists are expected/required to:

Be professional and ethical when handling clients’ issues.

Turn in their reports/notes weekly that meet COMAR regulations.

Therapy sessions may be performed onsite or offsite; sessions are to last 45 minutes minimum.

Therapists are to follow all policies pertaining to: Diagnostic (Dx) Evaluations, Treatment (Tx) Planning, Clinical Services, Referrals, & Discharge Planning must be done in a timely manner. Incident Reports & Crisis Plans should be completed as needed.

Therapists are required to participate in agency meetings, trainings, as well as maintain a current state-mandated license to practice within their scope of practice.

Therapists are required to provide the agency with updated personnel records necessary for the maintenance of the agency’s human resources files.

Therapists are required to sign the agency's confidentiality agreement and comply with HIPAA regulations as it relate to National Pike Health Center Inc.'s medical records.

Qualifying applicants must have a Master’s Degree & one of the following board-certified licenses:
Master's Degree and MD. State-approved licenses:
LCSW-C, LCSW, LCPC-S, LCMFT, and LCPC
LMSW, LMFT, or LGPC requires @ least three (3) times a month by an LCPC or LCSW-C
