Role Overview:
This in person internship combines digital marketing strategy with hands-on real estate operations. The intern will optimize our online presence and directly engage with prospects to understand customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. SEO & Digital Content Optimization
- Keyword Research: Identify high-performing local real estate and apartment search terms.
- On-Page SEO: Update website metadata, image alt tags, and headers.
- Content Tagging: Organize blog posts, property listings, and media assets.
- Website Audits: Fix broken links and improve local SEO citations.
- Create new Photos & Videos: Target 1 property at a time and develop high quality marketing images and video content for the next 24-48 months.
2. Social Media & Analytics Management
- Campaign Development and Content Creation: Develop a direction for our online social media that resinates with our customers and increases engagement
- Campaign Tracking: Monitor weekly engagement metrics across all social platforms.
- Traffic Analysis: Use Google Analytics to identify high-performing website pages.
- Performance Reporting: Create bi-weekly reports on content reach and conversions.
- Trend Identification: Spot high-performing post formats to guide future content.
3. Customer Intake & Leasing Operations
- Lead Qualification: Screen incoming rental inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
- Customer Research: Interview prospects to map out modern renter pain points.
- Property Touring: Conduct apartment showings and highlight key community amenities.
- CRM Logging: Maintain accurate records of customer feedback in the leasing database.
Deliverables:
- The first 2 weeks do a deep dive and Audit our Website & Social Media
- Develop recommendations for where and how to improve and as to "why"
- Setup with senior leadership an implementation plan for the summer
- Meet weekly to review delivered improvements and track prior work trending performances.
- Create and end of Internship Score Card on improvement metrix for Ownership and Intern performance
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or Real Estate.
- SEO Tools: Basic familiarity with Google Analytics, Semrush, or Moz.
- Platforms: Proficiency with Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Soft Skills: Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
