Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling vehicles safely and efficiently
- Operate the cash register using POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with precision and integrity
- Conduct product demos for convenience store items and promote upselling opportunities to increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including stocking shelves and merchandising displays
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering assistance, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Enforce safety protocols at the pump area and inside the store, including phone etiquette when communicating with customers or team members
Experience
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery or convenience store environments
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions confidently
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
- Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Strong communication skills to engage with customers professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stocking, and product demos enhances your ability to succeed in this role
