POSITION SUMMARY
Delivery is King. The Material Handler position adds value to the Fading West Building Systems manufacturing operation by ensuring that production is not delayed due to material shortages at the point of use and inaccurate inventory. They also help manage our flow of materials in and out of our facility to ensure materials are readily available and accessible.
Responsibilities

Ensures timely replenishment of production materials and supplies at the point of use.

Provides accurate and timely processing of in-bound goods.

Assists with inventory counts and receiving as needed.

Processes defective and other returned goods.

Provides timely communication of any inventory related issues.

Handles the out-bound waste stream.

Safely maneuver machinery in manufacturing environment.

Actively looks to fill inventory and storage related needs.

Prepares storage of finished product.

Assists in general facility related tasks.
Qualifications
-
Material handling experience of 1-3 years
-
Bi-lingual Spanish and English is a plus
-
Experience receiving goods in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Experience with inventory management methodologies strongly preferred.

Must have or be able to obtain forklift certification and have a valid driver’s license.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs safely and comfortably, and perform other physical aspects of the job.

Must be competent and comfortable in basic computer skills and navigate modern technology
