Young Sprouts is looking for an outgoing individual who has previous Assistant/Director experience to join our team. This person must have an exceptional personality, be full of fun, and be able to manage staff while building team culture at the same time.
Job Summary
- Effectively completes and maintains all required paperwork and record-keeping on a timely basis and maintains the same in an organized, up-to-date manner. This includes all program files such as student, employee, vehicle, driver, health, and safety files.
- Operate and manage all aspects of an early education center, including human resources, customer relations, marketing, educational programs, financial responsibility, and physical facility.
- Promotes a positive image of the school within the community and on social media.
- Establishes strong working relationships with state licensing authorities, local and county health departments, and other regulatory agencies.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures school compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Develops and maintains a strong working relationship with all state licensing authorities, vendors, and community contacts.
- Implements health and safety standards; ensures that appropriate supervision of children and safe transportation practices are utilized daily.
- Keeps Executive Director and Owner apprised in a timely manner of all critical areas of responsibilities, including serious student accidents, employee issues, and significant events.
- Develops and actively maintains positive communications with parents.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to parent concerns, involving teachers, administrators, families, or external support personnel as needed.
- Ensure that all food program paperwork is completed correctly during the enrollment process and turned into the Administrative Office for processing.
Qualifications
- The School Director must meet or exceed state licensing requirements for Director including age, education, and experience.
- A Bachelor’s or Associates's degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred but not required.
- The School Director must be qualified to drive the school bus when needed.
- The School Director must be willing and able to work in any classroom as needed to meet the school needs.
- The School Director must maintain at least 36 hours of training each year.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
