Position: IT Technician
i-80 Gold Corp is seeking a candidate to fill the position of IT Technician. The right individual is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing hardware and software components to ensure the smooth operations of IT systems. The IT Technician is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the network systems and IP based devices on the i-80 Gold network to ensure reliability, integrity, and availability for the operation. The IT Technician reports directly to the Director of IT, in all aspects of the i-80 Gold user and network environment and is accountable for all aspects of first level support within that environment.
Location: Winnemucca, NV (Travel to all mine sites necessary)

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Min of 3+ years experience in computer networks and systems maintenance
- Mining network experience advantageous
- Min of 3+ years experience in Microsoft Operating System Support
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Good Interpersonal Skills
- Attention to Detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Climb stairwells and be capable of working on elevated platforms
- Walk on uneven ground
- Lift and potentially carry up to 25 lbs.
- Periodically work in adverse weather conditions
- Periodically work in an underground environment
- Sit for extended periods of time
