Higher pay negotiable for experienced FedEx, Amazon and UPS drivers!
We are seeking reliable Delivery Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting FedEx packages in a safe, timely manner while adhering to delivery schedules and time commitments.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles (box trucks and stepvans)
- Load and unload packages following specific handling procedures
- Perform heavy lifting as required
- Communicate with operations managers and customers to ensure efficient delivery routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles
- Utilize technology to navigate and scan packages
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license(CDL not required) and a clean driving record (including no cell phone citations or DWI convictions).
- Free of speeding ticket in excess of 15 MPH over the posted speed limit.
- Must have NO CRIMINAL Convictions. NO FELONIES OR MISDEMEANOR'S EVER. This is a FedEx Corporation requirement. It is non-negotiable.
- Able to pass a DRUG TEST and DOT PHYSICAL before starting paid training
- Must be able to safely move up to 150 lbs. with a hand truck/dolly
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must have operational mobile phone and headset for work
- Able to arrive no later than 7:30am daily
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven or similar role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation apps
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle time-sensitive deliveries
- Strong communication skills and customer service-oriented attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $160.00 - $200.00 per day
