Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Director to collaborate with our team. The Medical Director will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Florida healthcare regulations, and providing medical supervision for a wide range of aesthetic and nursing services we’d like to expand to. This role is ideal for a physician with a passion for aesthetic medicine, patient care, and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and ensure compliance with all medical and regulatory protocols for proposed services including IV hydration, body sculpting, microneedling, chemical peels, drain removal, wound care, and hiring of Florida licensed nurses.

Supervise mid-level practitioners (APRN, PA, RN) and other healthcare staff to ensure safe and effective delivery of services.

Develop, review, and approve clinical protocols and policies for all medical and aesthetic services provided at the med spa.

Conduct periodic audits and reviews of patient treatment plans to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.

Answer questions and provide guidance as needed

Train and mentor licensed practitioners and staff in the safe use of equipment, procedures, and patient care.

Be available on-site as needed for direct supervision, especially for high-risk procedures, consultations, and compliance checks.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in aesthetic medicine, skincare, and post-operative care to implement new services and improve current offerings.
Qualifications:
-
Current, unrestricted Medical Doctor (M.D.) license in the state of Florida.

Board certification in plastic surgery or dermatology is preferred and ideal

Understanding of aesthetic medicine, dermatology, plastic surgery, or a related field.

Strong understanding of Florida healthcare regulations, including those related to med spas, home health services, and aesthetic practices.

Excellent communication skills

Preferred Experience:

Experience working in a med spa, dermatology clinic, or aesthetic practice.

Understanding of manual lymphatic drainage as this is what we’re known for.

Experience supervising and collaborating with a team of mid-level providers and nurses.

Familiarity with advanced aesthetic procedures and post-operative care.
Location Requirements:

Must hold an active Florida medical license.

Must be available to be “On call” (this mainly means receive calls for approval)

Must be available for on-site supervision within 25 miles of the med spa location to meet supervisory requirements. We are located off Physicians Drive in Tallahassee FL

You only have one satellite office in addition to your primary practice location. If you are already overseeing a satellite location in addition to your primary practice, you may not be eligible
