Job Summary
We are seeking a Painter's Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a desire to gain experience in both residential and commercial painting. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. The Painter's Apprentice will work closely with other tradespeople and contractors to complete renovations, restorations, and new construction tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Caulking and preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and airless paint spraying equipment.
- Mix paints and stains to achieve desired colors and finishes.
- Learn to read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Carry out fixture installations and minor carpentry work as needed.
- Follow safety protocols on construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
- Learn to operate scissor lifts and boom lifts
Skills
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in painting and construction.
- Ability to gain knowledge of plastering techniques, trim carpentry, frame carpentry.
- Background in the trades is a plus.
- Maintenance Person experience is advantageous for completing diverse tasks on-site.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
