The Security & Facility Supervisor has general responsibility for coordinating all security & facility activities daily. Under the direction of the QSHE Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for supervising all external service providers responsible for the security and maintenance services in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.Come Join Our Team in Groveport!
- Manage site security programs, including security system compliance, visitor/driver protocols, ID badge administration, alarm records, security documentation, and required logs to ensure adherence to KN policies and customer requirements.
- Investigate, document, and report security incidents, inventory discrepancies, suspicious activity, and internal theft cases, escalating findings to site leadership, the QSHE Manager, and the Director of Security as needed.
- Monitor and maintain security operations through CCTV reviews, branch activity reporting, security recordkeeping, and coordination with security guard contractors to strengthen site security performance.
- Develop, update, and deliver security procedures, work instructions, and awareness training to ensure associates and management understand and follow established security protocols.
- Oversee Facility Management (FM) programs by ensuring compliance with procurement, operational, financial, and FM guidelines while supporting budgeting, escalations, and service delivery requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by managing vendor relationships, implementing service level agreements, reducing facility-related costs, improving preventive maintenance practices, and ensuring timely communication across stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or a combination of education and equivalent work expeience
- 5+ years of experience in security and/or facility management, preferably within a warehouse, logistics, or industrial environment.
- 3+ years knowledge of security protocols, surveillance systems, risk management practices, and facility operations, with proficiency in security software and monitoring platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and decision-making abilities, including the capacity to work independently and respond effectively under pressure.
- Strong customer-service orientation, problem-solving capabilities, and a commitment to supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Commitment to compliance with company policies and procedures, including Human Resources guidelines, with flexibility to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.
